The rules

One planet, 195 countries, and exactly one owner per country at any moment: whoever paid the most for it.

• Claiming a free oneA country with no owner is free to claim. First come, first served.
• Taking oneTo take a country from its owner you pay €1 more than they did. Always exactly one increment above the last price.
• Your flagWhile a country is yours you show a square image, your brand and a link to an X post or profile on top of it. Change them whenever you want.
• Losing itThe instant someone outpays you, your flag drops and theirs goes up. Your name stays in that country's ledger forever.
• The potEvery euro paid goes into the round pot. Nothing pays out until the pot passes €500.
• Winning the roundWhen the round ends, whoever controls the most countries takes 50% of the pot.
• Round lengthA round runs for 24 hours.
• Anti-snipingIf a country is taken in the last 3 minutes, the clock is pushed back 3 minutes. No last-second theft.

Prices are set and charged on the server. The browser never decides what you pay.
